Rhizomebook is an ongoing digital publication shaped by a rhizomatic artistic practice. Its content is continuously revised, expanded, adapted, relocated, or removed without prior notice. Information, documents, images, texts, and project descriptions published on this website may change at any time and should not be understood as fixed, definitive, or complete records.
While reasonable efforts are made to maintain accuracy and relevance, Rhizomebook does not guarantee the permanence, availability, completeness, or continued accessibility of any content. Temporary inconsistencies, omissions, contradictions, outdated information, or unfinished material may occur as part of the publication’s evolving structure.
The fluid nature of this website is intentional and reflects the conceptual foundations of the project. Rhizomebook operates as an open system shaped by context, relation, circulation, and transformation rather than stability, linear development, or fixed conclusions.
The website does not work toward stable objects, singular meanings, or clearly defined positions. Instead, it moves through institutional language, administrative systems, digital environments, ecological models, archives, collections, organizational procedures, and other forms of infrastructure that often remain outside conventional definitions of art. These structures are approached not as neutral frameworks but as unstable terrains through which artistic practice unfolds.
Projects may appear temporarily, migrate between platforms, fragment into multiple forms, disappear, re-emerge elsewhere, or remain suspended in unfinished states. A publication may function as infrastructure. An application may operate as performance. An archive may behave like fiction. Administrative language may become sculptural material. Meaning emerges through displacement, repetition, contradiction, negotiation, delay, and systemic response rather than through fixed interpretation.
Rhizomebook resists expectations of coherence, transparency, productivity, and categorization that frequently shape institutional and cultural environments. Visibility is treated critically, legitimacy is not assumed to be neutral, and value is understood as something continuously produced through language, context, and power relations.
Works develop through association rather than linear progression. They spread through connection, contamination, interruption, translation, and drift. What matters is not resolution but circulation; not fixed meaning but the conditions through which meaning becomes possible.
Ecology functions less as a subject than as an operational logic. Wild growth, invasive species, underground networks, and neglected territories serve as structural models for artistic practices that evade containment and resist domestication.
Rhizomebook is not a representation of this practice. It is one of the sites where the practice temporarily takes form.
