Book XXXVI Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam
Computer virus, designed with the sole purpose of destroying all digital collection files of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
This virus, referred to as 'Book XXXVI', is based on a quote by Albert Camus that suggests the refusal of intelligence to reason with the concrete. The work represents a drama of intelligence, albeit indirectly.
Book XXXVI is stored on a USB memory stick and will trigger an irreversible destruction process when connected to a computer with direct access to the museum's digital collection files.
