Book XXXII

Book XXXII was an unpaid commission for Tubelight magazine (NL).

In Tubelight, a magazine that publishes critical reviews of contemporary art presentations, the name Jan van der Til is featured prominently on the centerfold of the magazine. The Mondriaan Fund logo is also displayed alongside his name, as a trademark or copyright symbol.

The letters spelling out 'JAN VAN DER TIL' are designed in the same font as the Mondriaan Fund logo. This publicly funded organization provides support for visual art and cultural heritage, including funding for innovative projects by artists, intermediaries (curators and critics), museums, heritage organizations, art institutions, archives, galleries, and commissioning parties.

Jan van der Til received a Stipendium for Established Artists from the Mondriaan Fund in 2017. This grant is intended to enable artists to create new work and experiment with their craft. The goal is to promote the artist's body of work, cultural entrepreneurship, and profile, with the hope that it will lead to the creation of art that can make a meaningful contribution to Dutch contemporary visual art.
